VOWS

If at all the word ‘we’ exist,

And our souls have tied knot

That we are destined to explore together,

I vow to be the air of your breathe,

Light of your day and stars of your night.

 

Why do you take everyone for temporary?

Behold, the sun and the moon are for eternity!

You too are eternal so long as these words live;

These are words of love engraved by my soul,

So worry not, am never out of love.

 

Even the celestials don’t selflessly love-

The biased sun bestow parts of her

To illuminate the moon during dark;

But I vow to give full of myself for your light,

You never have to suffer alone at night.

 

If I hold your hands to share my life,

I would demand for your smile, not fortunes,

Snuggles are must, not chariots.

It’s okay to lead ordinary without luxury,

Because your bliss is of prime sense, not stress.

 

So don’t choose a berth for bankrolls inviting evil

To your good tone! Walk the path of your heart,

No matter how late, start fresh trip to your dream.

If you still worry about the treasures,

Remember that I can grind rocks!

 

When your shadow leaves at grim,

When your grip leaves at infirm,

I will be your ribs holding you together.

Thus I would cherish you and my pure vows

Till death do us part!
